The Waterford Police Department receives cellular phones, Ipods, digital cameras, etc that are found and turned in by good samaritans. WPD Officers do their best to track down the rightful owners of the property and return the items to them.

Most of the time, the items sit in the evidence room until they are scheduled to be destroyed. If you have an item that comes with a warranty or registration card, please take the time to fill this card out, as it helps the Police get a found item back to you. Most companies will give the name of the owner to the Police so the item can be returned.
