Challenge is a program provided to the 5th grade students in all Waterford schools.  The program which is instructed by Waterford Police Officers and members of the Waterford Youth Service department, is an 11 week program designed to better prepare Waterford children in decision making as they face different challenges in future years.  The program covers drug use, bullying, peer pressure, healthy relationships, decision making, gambling, media and several other age related topics.  Classroom discussion, role playing and handouts are a large part of the program.  The program has been instructed for 10+ years in Waterford and continues to assist the youth of Waterford as they get older.
